7.1 Types and Meanings of Amulets Available for Purchase at Higashi Honganji Temple

・We do not generally offer amulets.
In accordance with the teachings of Jodo Shinshu, Higashi Honganji does not offer amulets or talismans.
This is based on the belief that “everyone can be saved equally through nembutsu and faith, without relying on material things.”
